Welcome to Issue #003 of RWA This Week. This week produced one of the most significant data drops the sector has seen: Binance Research's June report confirming 589% growth in tokenized RWAs from early 2025 to June 2026. Securitize cleared SEC review for its public debut. The Clearing House announced a 2027 tokenized deposit network. The DTCC launch is now two weeks out. A lot happened.

The Stories

Tokenized RWAs Up 589% From Early 2025 — Stocks Now the Fastest-Growing Segment

Binance Research's Monthly Market Insights report published June 8 put the headline number at 589% growth in active tokenized RWAs from early 2025 to June 2026. Bonds and money market funds led in dollar terms (+$6.5B, +83%). Tokenized stocks were the fastest-growing segment at +422%, with Ondo Global Markets crossing $1B TVL within eight months of launch. Tokenized precious metals added $1.5B (+39%), peaking above $6B during the January–February geopolitical tension period before retracing. The report's framing: "2026 marks RWA tokenization's maturation from a Treasury-dominated narrative into a diversified yield ecosystem." Source: CoinMarketCap / Binance Research, June 8 →

Securitize Gets SEC Approval for Public Debut — Valued at $1.25 Billion

The SEC declared effective Securitize's Form S-4 registration statement on June 5, clearing the proposed business combination with Cantor Fitzgerald affiliate Cantor Equity Partners II. The deal values Securitize at a pre-money $1.25 billion equity value. The CEPT shareholder vote is the remaining step before Securitize becomes a publicly traded company. The significance: Securitize is the transfer agent and tokenization infrastructure behind BlackRock's BUIDL, KKR's tokenized PE fund, and dozens of other institutional RWA issuances — its public debut is a direct proxy on the institutional RWA market's growth trajectory. The Clearing House Plans Tokenized Deposit Network for 2027

The Clearing House — the bank-owned payments operator backed by JPMorgan Chase, Citibank, Bank of America, BNY, and Wells Fargo — announced plans to launch a tokenized deposit network in 2027, according to the Wall Street Journal. The Clearing House processes $2 trillion in daily payments. A tokenized deposit layer from this consortium would bring blockchain-based settlement further into the core of US banking infrastructure, complementing rather than competing with the DTCC's upcoming settlement system. The combination of DTCC (securities settlement) + Clearing House (deposit/payment layer) begins to look like the complete institutional blockchain stack. DTCC Launch T-Minus Two Weeks — All Systems Confirmed

With the July 2026 tokenized settlement launch now two weeks away, DTCC working group members have confirmed all parallel testing phases are complete. The launch will bring T+0 atomic settlement to the Russell 1000 securities in the initial scope. For context: Ethereum-based tokenized RWAs alone surpassed $17B in early 2026 — a 315% increase year-over-year. The DTCC infrastructure goes live into a market that has already proven institutional demand. → Full DTCC coverage

Ethereum Leads RWA Market Cap Growth Across All Sectors — Three-Year Clean Sweep

Token Terminal data reported June 4 shows Ethereum achieved the highest absolute market cap growth across all four RWA sectors over the trailing three-year period. Ethereum-based tokenized RWAs surpassed $17B in early 2026, a 315% increase from ~$4.1B a year prior. The broader stablecoin market on Ethereum mainnet now exceeds $175B. The data reinforces Ethereum's position as the primary settlement and issuance layer for institutional RWA — despite competition from Polygon, Avalanche, and Solana in specific verticals. What to Watch Next Week

DTCC go-live (week of July 7) — the July 2026 launch is now inside a two-week window. Expect the DTCC to publish a formal launch announcement and participant guidance in the coming days. Any public communication from Goldman, Morgan Stanley, or Securitize about readiness will move sentiment significantly.

Securitize shareholder vote — the CEPT shareholder vote to approve the Securitize business combination is the remaining step before its public debut. Watch for the vote date announcement and any pre-vote commentary from institutional shareholders.

Clearing House timeline details — the 2027 tokenized deposit network announcement was light on specifics. Technical architecture details and partner bank participation lists will be the signals that tell you whether this is serious infrastructure planning or early-stage positioning.

Ondo Q2 data — June 30 closes Q2. First full quarter under Ian De Bode. Ondo TVL trajectory, any new institutional partnership announcements, and the performance of USDY yield relative to Treasury rates will all be watched closely.
